Leo and Leo Friendship Compatibility

Leo and Leo Friendship Compatibility

Friendships between Leo and Leo are either a roaring success, or a fight to the death. Which way things will go for these two astrological lions depends largely on whether they are trying to occupy the same territory.

Leos like to be successful and the center of attention, and they don’t really like to share the spotlight with anyone. So they do not tend to be compatible with other Leos that are too similar to them. But if they don’t conflict, their shared personality and horoscope means that they can become fast friends.

Here are the Leo and Leo friendship key areas:

Are Leo and Leo Compatible as Friends?

Leo and Leo together are either a recipe for strong friendship or for strong discord. Did you know that Lions are the only large cats that live in groups rather than as solitary warriors? Leos like to be close to other Leos who they find exciting and trustworthy.

However, Lions will fight for the position of king of the pack, and Leos will as well. If they feel threatened by another Leo, the friendship between the two is likely to be difficult.

Mutual Interests

A Leo will often have a lot in common with another Leo, as they both enjoy doing anything that lets them show off. This could be sports, dance, cooking, or public speaking.

Leos generally prefer things that they feel like they are innately good at. Unless it is a serious passion, they don’t really like to learn anything too complicated, and risk being embarrassed along the way. And again, unless it is that thing that really drives, they don’t want to dedicate too much time to it.

But when it comes to something that is more than a hobby, there is almost no limit to how much of themselves they will give to something. But don’t expect to see the same dedication when it comes to a passing fancy.

When two Leos do find themselves loving, or even experiencing a passing fancy, for the same thing, it can be the start of a beautiful friendship. But things can also go the other way. Whatever they are doing, Leo likes to be at the front and with the spotlight on them. They don’t always appreciate another Leo on a similar path invading what they see as their space.

Anyone who has spent a lot of time with a Leo will know that they can be inconsiderate. Leo tends to be very focussed on themselves and what they want from life, and think what they want and need is of the highest importance.

But on the flip side, they aren’t very good at recognizing this same need in others. They can be dismissive of things that are really important to other people. This can be frustrating for the people around them, but it is not deliberate, you just need to put in a bit of effort to make them realize what they are doing.

When Leo is brought around, they can be a fiercely loyal advocate and supporter. They are also generally the first person to stand up and get mad when they feel like someone close to them is being hurt or misused.

Fortunately, another Leo is the type of person who won’t let their interests be side lined, and they will speak up. So, two Leos are likely to stand up for each other and support each other.

That is, unless they are after the same thing, in which case they can often become rivals.

Fun & Excitement

Leo and Leo friends believe that life is meant to be fun, and you will often find them pursuing a good time. Two Leos together can feed off each other, which can take the excitement to a whole new level.

While sometimes this works very well, at other times problems can emerge. This is mostly because Leo likes to be in charge, and so when there is a difference of opinion about how to proceed, the resulting tug of war for control can put the brakes on the whole plan.

Also, if one of the two feels like they are being left out while the other is enjoying the spotlight for the moment, Leos at the most extreme end of the spectrum might try to do something to get the attention back on them, which can undermine the whole event.

Basically, when things are good between two Leos, they are very good, but when they are bad, they are rotten.

Likelihood to Last

The main challenge facing two Leos is if they feel that the other person is trying to occupy the same space as them, and they don’t like it. But this is the type of conflict that usually emerges not that long after two Leos meet, which may result in them becoming frenemies, or even enemies.

But, if two Leos manage to get past this point during the early stages of their relationship theirs is a friendship that is likely to last. If they have found a happy balance, they probably find one another energizing and invigorating, and their tendency towards loyalty ties them together.

While conflicts might emerge in the future, they are much more likely to find their way past these issues if they have already formed a bond.

The strength of the bond between two Leos largely depends on what happens near the start of their relationship. If they find themselves in competition and decide to treat one another as kinds of frenemies, they will never trust the other with their deeper thoughts and always arrive at the relationship with their guard up.

But if two Leos are able to move beyond this initial bump, they are likely to become fast friends. They see in one another someone who can understand them, who they find energizing, and with whom they can share some of their dreams and challenges. They are very likely to trust one another with the deepest thoughts.

Leo and Leo Potential to be More Than Just Friends

It is very common for two Leos to find a love connection. They are both likely to find the energy of the other highly stimulating. Even when they find themselves in conflict, they can find that those heated emotions become feelings of passion.

While two Leos can often make a power couple, each helping the other to reach their dreams, it is not always smooth sailing.

Both like to be in charge and control the situation, which can be a constant source of conflict. Their natural desire to always be the center of attention can also mean that they can be jealous of one another, which is rarely healthy.

But both are also generous and caring, so when its real love, they manage to find a way to make things work.
